Shibani is a prominent Bollywood singer, having sung for movies like ‘Shoot out at Lokhandwala’ and ‘Sunday’.She won the Best Female Pop Singer award for the album Nazakat at the 2005 Sangeet Awards held in San Francisco. As singer, Shibani was awarded JAI 19th National Award as Best Singer of India, by H K Sethi, Secretary General Journalist Association of India (www.jaoi.org) & Journalists Federation of India (www.jfoi.org), in the presence of Hon’ble Oscar Fernandes, former Union Minister of India & Hon’ble Kapil Sibal, Union Minster of India, on 2 September 2011. She composed and sang the title track for the television serial Akela on Sony Entertainment Television. She was one of the judges of the singing show Bathroom Singer on Sahara Filmy channel.
